My skills and MacBook Pro can provide a complete, high quality, digital artwork studio if required. I can work at your offices or remotely, providing extra studio capacity, instantly. Let me deal creatively with the details and technical aspects of artwork for print, or online, allowing direct clients, Art Directors and Designers to spend more time designing. I can work on Mac and PC, which is often useful for MS Office projects.
Working for Edinburgh design and advertising agencies for over 30 years, with 12 years at Studio Manager level, I have created artwork in many formats, above, below and through-the-line. I am also excellent at altering print assets for online use, and providing artwork guidelines for others.
I have in-depth knowledge of reproduction for newsprint publications and high quality print, matching ink weights to printing intents. My repro pdfs are bombproof, created to meet industry P4P and PDF/X requirements. I work mainly with Adobe CC and MS Office apps. I love a long document in InDesign. Nested style-sheets and ID book format are all in my skillset.

Why so serious?
I've had permanent positions with McCann-Erickson, Faulds, Leith, Redpath and Barkers as well as freelance experience. For 9 years I was one of the founding directors of Alliance Creative.
